Ulster Project Cincinnati Friends and Families,
Mark your calendar and get ready to March!
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Saturday, March 12, and we want our teens, siblings, parents, families, friends and supporters to join the celebration as Ulster Project Cincinnati proudly shows its Irish roots. It is a great opportunity to come together, share stories and raise awareness of UPC in our community. The parade begins downtown at the corner of Mehring Way and Central Avenue at Paul Brown Stadium, and winds several blocks before ending at Rosa Parks Street near the Freedom Center. The weather will be perfect and the crowd will be lively!
If you have not RSVP’d you can still just show up. I will arrive a bit before 10 AM, but you can gather a bit later, as the parade doesn’t start until noon. However, the later you arrive, the harder to park. We will meet in the Mehring Way Staging Area. We are Number 120. Our group is the 20th group in the 1st Division (St. Patrick Division). The Mehring Way Staging Area and surrounding streets will close at 10:00 AM. All must be ready to march no later than 11:30 AM. Port-O-Lets are available. More info is at www.cincystpatsparade.com.
Wear any Ulster apparel you have, or any green is also good. We have 2 banners, so if anyone has 1 or 2 …8-9 foot poles to carry them, please reply or call me.
Call my cell (213-7771) if you have any trouble or questions. Thank you all for your support and hope to see everyone there.
